Megan's First Day of School
Well the day has finally arrived. Today is Megan's first day of preschool. This morning we got up and took a bath, got dressed, ate breakfast and Megan immediately started asking if it was time to leave yet. Over and over and over - "Can we go to school now?" I finally told her we could leave when the clock said 8:40. Then I started getting updates every few minutes, "The clock says 8:06, the clock says 8:31..."
Finally the time came and we gathered together her million things to take - backpack, lunchbox, and napmat. She looked prepared for a weekend trip rather than a 5 1/2 hour day at preschool.
I had heard that the first day can be tramatizing and to expect tears. Not from my Megan. She posed for a quick pic and was off to color with the other kiddos. Katie and I will go to pick her up around 2:30 and I can not wait to hear how the day went.

For my Mom
Well, I have been reminded several times that the blog is out of date. Since mom is having a visit with her aunts and uncles from around the country today, I know she will want to bring up our site to show off her girls. So here are some new pics.

Here is a picture from our San Antonio trip. We were at the Children's Museum in New Braunsfels.

Arboretum
We spent this morning at the Arboretum with some of our friends. The tulips were beautiful and a great background for our munchkins.

Frosty in Texas
I would never have imagined a sight in my yard like I see right now. There is atleast 10 inches of snow - if not 12 - in our back yard. It snowed from Wednesday night through very early this morning with flakes like I haven't seen since I left PA.
Yesterday we made a snow man. Unfortunately, 12 hours and 8 inches later, he looked worse for the wear. Poor guy has been repaired twice. We tried sledding but with no sled and no hill big enough, it ended up being me pulling Megan around the yard.
My poor sister just thought she was going to get away from the snow on Saturday. I don't think all 10 inches will melt before her plane lands.
