Arboretum

We spent this morning at the Arboretum with some of our friends. The tulips were beautiful and a great background for our munchkins.

Megan got her face painted for the first time and looked beautiful as usual. She was really patient for the artist and loved her pink and purple butterfly.
Here's our Katie - my sweet girl. She loved crawling around on the nice lush grass.

Playdate Fun

Spring is finally here! We have been galavanting around a lot lately. Here are some pics of our girls and their wonderful friends at our latest playdates.

Katie has found a new trick.... Peek-a-boo!

Since the weather is finally beautiful, we have been enjoying the outside a lot. Megan and Katie would live outside if I would let them and both are little adrenaline junkies.
We hope you are enjoying your spring as much as we are. Happy Easter!

Frosty in Texas

I would never have imagined a sight in my yard like I see right now. There is atleast 10 inches of snow - if not 12 - in our back yard. It snowed from Wednesday night through very early this morning with flakes like I haven't seen since I left PA.

Yesterday we made a snow man. Unfortunately, 12 hours and 8 inches later, he looked worse for the wear. Poor guy has been repaired twice. We tried sledding but with no sled and no hill big enough, it ended up being me pulling Megan around the yard.

My poor sister just thought she was going to get away from the snow on Saturday. I don't think all 10 inches will melt before her plane lands.

Ta Da

As my Aunt Glo has reminded me, I have yet to post video of the beloved Daisy's dance. Here are two videos of Megan performing. In the first, she is "fancy" in her scarf and hat. Mind you it was 80+ outside. In the second, you get to see a bit of our drama major in the making.

Bath time!

I love this picture of the girls during their first bath together. They had a great time together and Megan keeps asking to do it again. The hardest part was keeping Katie seated. She kept reaching for Megan and all of her toys.

And, by popular demand, here is another video. Katie was very intrigued by the camera, especially because she could see herself. Plus she is becoming quite the peekaboo pro.

Halloween at Little Gym

A little ladybug invaded The Little Gym today but she acted more like a monkey than a ladybug.

Fall Fun

The last few weeks have been filled with fall fun - pumpkin patches, petting zoos and pumpkin carving.

Our first pumpkin patch was last weekend and it included a petting zoo.

Earlier this week, Megan and I cleaned out a pumpkin so daddy could carve it for us. We definitely had the easier of the two jobs, especially since we had him carve Megan's favorite character - Minnie Mouse.

Today we went to a local pumpkin patch and played in the mud with our mommy group friends. After a very, very wet October, there was mud everywhere. I was proud of our little Megan. Although she is normally my little priss, she was jumping and squishing in the mud. Even when she slipped and got mud all over her jeans, she just dusted herself off and kept playing.
